EHS PTSA Board Member TrainingAn Emphasis on Training PTSAs have a fiduciary responsibility to manage its non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable corporation in the best interest of its members. This ability requires, at a minimum, knowledge of the applicable state and federal regulations; therefore, every year at least one officer of the Eastlake PTSA attends the required PTA and the Law training. The Lake Washington PTSA (LWPTSA) Council provides this and other Washington State PTA-approved training seminars and/or webinars throughout the year on topics such as membership, managing a non-profit, nominating committees and more. The Eastlake PTSA is committed to leadership training so that its board members can be confident in their responsibilities to serve our unit -- and you!
