Hello Bakers!

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Eastlake Holiday Bazaar bake sale!  We're glad you are here!  We are hoping to have 50-60 bakers on the bake sale volunteer list, so please share this page/link with anyone who might be interested in helping us out!  Thanks in advance!

When to drop off baked goods...

The Holiday Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023.  Baked goods can be dropped off at the Eastlake High School office on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 8:30am and 4pm.  

The bake sale team will be setting up in the Commons after school hours, so you can bring your baked goods directly there if the office is closed. 

If you need to drop them off on Saturday, please bring them to the Commons before 8:30am.

Some helpful details…

• Delicious recipes, creativity, and variety are key to the success of our annual bake sale.  Need some ideas?  Homemade cookies, bars, brownies, Rice Krispie treats, sweet breads (mini loaves and full size), holiday cookies (that can be frozen, bagged or boxed), candies, fudge, pies, cakes, cupcakes, donuts, popcorn mixes, etc. What treat do you make that your family loves?  Chances are, someone else will love it too! 
  
  
• Please note that we will have no refrigeration available, so only bring treats that can sit at room temperature for the entire sale.
  
  
• Please label your item.  In addition to labeling your item with its name, it is always nice to have details, like which items are gluten free and/or contain nuts.  We will have tent cards on display next to your treat, so descriptions are very helpful! 
  
  
• Wrapping and packaging are super important!  To help us with display and selling, we request that you package your item(s). Pinterest is a wonderful place for wrapping and packaging ideas! Remember: People eat with their eyes first.  The better the packaging, the more we can sell it for, and the faster it will go!  It's amazing what a little ribbon, raffia, or a cellophane bag can do.  Get creative! We will likely be pricing items anywhere from $1.00-$3.00 for small individually wrapped items and up to $25 for larger items like cakes and pies, so keep that in mind as you plan your baking and packaging.
  
  
• We will provide the trays, cake plates, etc. to display your goodies; therefore, please bring your items to us on disposable trays.
