The Eastlake PTSA is excited to host a parent education event--"Parenting Toolbox for the Teenage Years."  Please join us on Wednesday, January 22nd from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Eastlake High School Performing Arts Center to hear from school district representatives and community members about some of the topics affecting our kids today, and how parents can build their skills to best help their kids through this challenging time. 

Our panel speakers include Johnny Phu (LWSD Director of Student Services), Principal Chris Bede, Sara Anderson (EHS Counseling Department Chair) and John Holifield (Eastlake Learning Community Attendance Specialist and BECCA Coordinator. Breakout sessions will dive into topics relating to Parenting and the Teenage Brain, Social Media and it’s impact on teens presented, Drug and Alcohol Use and Healthier Options to Cope with Stress and Building Strong Families: Practical Strategies for Improving Family Ties.
