In partnership with the Lake Washington Schools Foundation, KCLS and the YMCA the Eastlake PTSA is proud to present: LIKE a documentary about the impact of social media on our lives (trailer). Please join us on April 17th at 6:30pm at the EHS Theater for the screening of this documentary. A panel discussion will follow the screening.
About the film:
Are you using technology, or is technology using you?
The goal of this film is to inspire and help equip us to teach ourselves and our children to self-regulate. Social media is a tool and social platforms are a place to connect, share, and care…but is that what’s really happening?
Panel to immediately follow with Jevin West, an expert in Data Science from the UW along with Health Staff and students of EHS to discuss the impact of social media on students and families in our community.
Free for parents and students in grades 6-12. If you are unable to attend the evening viewing, there will be an open viewing for all students, staff and community members in the EHS Theatre at 1pm on April 17th as well.
